Michael Jackson left his father nothing in his will
The 50-year-old pop legend – who died after suffering a reported cardiac arrest last Thursday (25.06.09) – left his entire estate to his mother Katherine, three children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II and several charities, according to a will made in 2002.
America’s prestigious business newspaper the Wall Street Journal reports the will is the last one Michael – who had a troubled relationship with his father and had accused him of physical abuse during his childhood – made.
It is understood Michael’s lawyer John Branca – who stopped working with Michael in 2006 but was reportedly rehired three weeks ago, and who arranged for Michael to buy The Beatles publishing catalogue in 1985 – could hand the document to the Los Angeles Superior Court as early as tomorrow (01.07.09).
In a petition filed by Michael’s parents to administer his estate on Monday (29.06.09), they claimed their son died “intestate”, meaning without a will. Joe and Katherine’s lawyer L. Londell McMillan claims neither of Michael’s parents have seen the 2002 document.
McMillan wrote in an email: “No will has been presented to family or us. We will review any will when we see it.”
The document names Branca and music executive John McClain, who was friends with Michael, as executors.
It is alleged Michael died with a debt of around $500 million, but his assets are said to be worth in the region of $700 million.
His most valuable asset is his 50 per ownership of Sony/ATV Music Publishing. He also owned publishing catalogue Mijac, which is made up of his own music. Sony currently have control of the masters of his albums, but that was set to be handed back to him in five years, according to reports.
Katherine was given temporary custody of Michael’s children yesterday (29.06.09), but she was denied temporary guardianship of the children’s estate.
Kate Moss’ boyfriend has banned her from singing
The supermodel has state-of-the-art karaoke systems installed in both her UK homes but The Kills rocker Jamie Hince has told his lover she needs to cutdown on her favourite hobby because he finds it distracting.
A source said Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “When she’s not working, Kate likes nothing more than getting some pals over to her place after lunch, cracking open a couple of bottles and then singing to her heart’s content.
“But Jamie is getting a little tired of the lengthy sing-a-longs and has now told her that she can only rock the mic for just half an hour a day.”
Kate is so determined to enjoy her singing sessions she even tried to have Daisy Lowe banned from a recent PlayStation 3 Singstar – a karaoke computer game – party because of her ongoing feud with the model’s socialite mother Pearl Lowe.
A source at the bash told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Daisy arrived with her stepdad Danny Goffey, who’s married to Daisy’s mum Pearl Lowe.
Unfortunately, Pearl and Danny are persona non grata with Kate and herfriends after she wrote her book exposing their clan.
“Daisy’s done nothing wrong but organisers thought it best she stay outside as Kate was expected. Danny was immediately turned away but Daisy was eventually let in.”

Hayden Panettiere was attracted to her first crush because he was so good at “kickball”

Amy Winehouse’s Caribbean home has been fumigated
The troubled ‘Rehab’ singer has adopted several stray dogs she has found on the beach in St Lucia and worried resort managers have insisted on having her villa cleaned as they fear the pooches could be carrying diseases.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Management initially turned a blind eye to what Amy was doing. But she’s adopted about five or six dogs now. They’re all strays without the proper vaccinations and they all have fleas.
“The management did not want the risk of any of the fleas infecting any of the other rooms, so they got a firm of fumigators in to blitz Amy’s quarters and told her not to bring any more animals on site.”
This is not the first time Amy’s love of animals has attracted attention. Last may, singer Pete Doherty posted a bizarre video on YouTube, entitled ‘Winemouse’ featuring the ‘Back To Black’ star hugging his pet cat, waving its paw at the camera and then cuddling a tiny baby mouse she had taken from its cage in her friend’s home.
In a second video, the pair were seen giggling over a box of around 30 baby mice and singing: “This is a dawning of a new mouse life”.

Katie Price launched into a furious rant at Peter Andre as the couple met for the first time since their split
The glamour model – also known as Jordan – drove to the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer’s house in Brighton, Sussex, yesterday (29.06.09) with the couple’s two children, Junior, four, and Princess Tiaamii, two, but was angry when Peter wasn’t there.
She yelled: “He isn’t man enough to pick up his kids. I’m f***ing taking them home.”
Peter turned up 20 minutes later, at 3.35 pm, and calmly asked her: “It’s supposed to be at 4pm so why have you come so early?” An onlooker said: “It was definitely Jordan, not Katie, who turned up. She was in a hell of a mood.”
Peter has now banned Katie from attending a Barbie-themed party he is holding for Princess Tiaamii this weekend.
He was upset after Katie told him he couldn’t see his two-year-old daughter yesterday, which was her actual birthday.
A source said: “Peter doesn’t want her anywhere near his new home and he has made that clear to her.” Peter is seeking full custody of Junior and Princess Tiaamii as well as Katie’s seven-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship.
