Josh Duhamel is amazed Fergie agreed to marry him
The ‘Transformers’ actor – who tied the knot with the Black Eyed Peas star earlier this year – still can’t believe the 34-year-old singer wanted to spend her life with him.
He said: “It just feels more chilled now because there’s less pressure. We’ve done it, we’re together, we’re happy and it’s a great feeling. Everything I do now involves Fergie, and I love that. Sometimes it amazes me that she chose me.”
The 36-year-old actor is blissfully happy with his wife, and claims the key to having a strong relationship is making the effort to get to know each other properly.
He explained to Women’s Health magazine: “What makes a happy marriage is taking the time to learn each other’s behaviour – and noting how they treat you. My parents were divorced, and that was the last thing I wanted for myself. I waited until I was 36 to propose, and I’m really proud of that. Sometimes guys get caught up in who they think is the right girl and what friends and family push on them, but for me, it was a natural step. I got the best girl in the world.”

The ‘Doubt’ co-stars reunited for the forthcoming film – which is about world-famous chef Julia Child and writer Julie Powell, who challenged herself to cook Julia’s recipes – and admit the amount of food they had to eat for their roles wasn’t good for their waistlines.
Meryl said: “I gained 15 pounds – I’m still trying to lose it! It was worth it.”
Amy added: “I ate a lot! Cooking is like love – it should be approached with abandon.”
The actresses were unable to escape gaining weight as they were ordered to enjoy the food featured in the scenes by director Nora Ephron.
Nora revealed: “That’s one of the things I said in rehearsal. Everyone has to eat in the scenes, and everyone really went for it.”

A source close to Katie – who also has a four-year-old son, Junior, with Peter, as well as seven-year-old Harvey from a previous relationship told Britains Daily Star newspaper: She is terrified Chantelle could become Petes girlfriend and start playing mother to her kids.

Chantelle has made no secret of her fondness for Peter since he announced his split from Katie in May.
She said: Of course Im attracted to him. Pete is an amazing guy – very hunky.
Katie – also known as Jordan – is working hard to repair her image after she was heavily criticised for her wild partying while on a recent holiday in Ibiza.
A friend said: In Ibiza Katie went back to being crazy Jordan. But now shes realised it could affect her chances of getting the kids.
She knows shes got to be sensible Katie Price, whos a good parent, role model and charity fundraiser. She knows she has to knock wild nights out on the head – for the time being at least.
Meanwhile, Sarah Harding has spoken out in support of both Katie and Peter, insisting she is refusing to take sides.

Michael Jacksons ghost has been spotted at Neverland
Fans of the late pop star who died of a suspected cardiac arrest on June 25, aged 50 claim the image of his spirit can be seen in the background of a TV show filmed inside his beloved ranch.
During an interview with Michaels brother Jermaine Jackson for CNNs Inside Neverland TV show, a strange shadow appeared on the wall before crossing the corridor and moving around the room.
Fans believe the shadow is the Thriller singers spectre, which has returned to his former home from beyond the grave.
Gareth Jones, 26, said: Its an incredible couple of seconds of footage.
The ghostly apparition was missed by Jermaine, US interviewer Larry King and the film crew who failed to noticed its presence during the recording of the show.
However, the video which was aired a week after Michaels death – has become an internet hit since it was posted on video streaming website YouTube and hundreds of fans have commented on the footage believing it is the ghost of their idol.

The ‘I Love You, Beth Cooper’ actress says she is willing to put her acting career on hold for a long period of time in order to explore a different aspect of the movie industry.
She said: “I would love to direct at some point. Directing is something I would very definitely want to take a major break from acting to do because you have to live with the project for so long afterward. I wouldn’t want to spend myself too thin, I want to dedicate my time and my energy to that, and eventually maybe down the road that will happen.”
Despite her ambitions, the ‘Heroes’ star is not ready to give up acting yet as she still enjoys getting to work with new people and learning new things about herself.
She added: “I always enjoy the travelling, the working with new people and the eventually down the road what you wind up learning from those people. Every time I work with somebody and travel to a different place your experiences make up who you are.
“I may not be able to tell you right now who I am, but down the road I’ll get to look back and go, ‘Oh that’s who I was’ and I was that because of ‘x, y and z’ I was that because of all the wonderful experiences and roles that I’ve played, and the people I’ve gotten to work with and the places I’ve travelled, it’s not too shabby.”

Nicole Scherzinger’s career is more important than her relationship
The Pussycat Dolls singer – who is dating racing driver Lewis Hamilton – insists getting married is the least of her priorities and she was
“mortified” when it was suggested recently that she is set to walk down the aisle.
She said: “Someone asked me a general question about what I wanted in ten years and whether my ambitions included a family and then the next day it was in all the papers that ‘Nicole wants to marry Lewis’, when that was the last thing I said.
“In ten years time I would like to have accomplished a lot in my career – that is the most important thing to me. My dream is to do my own music one day, to have an unbelievable tour, to have done some musical theatre and some film and maybe to have opened up a performing arts school for special needs kids.
“That is my ultimate dream, not marriage.”
Despite admitting that being in the public eye makes it difficult for the couple – who have been dating since November 2007 – to go out, one thing they always make time for is attending church together.
Nicole added: “Religion is an important bond. One of the most important things if you want to have longevity in a relationship is a good strong spiritual connection.”
